Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his Cabinet on Sunday that Israel “will not sit idly by.”

The Palestinians submitted their application last week to the ICC. The application is expected to be approved in about 60 days, clearing the way for them to pursue war crimes cases against Israel.

Netanyahu’s minister for strategic affairs, Yuval Steinitz, said that if the Palestinians press forward with their efforts, Israel will have to consider further steps.

The Israeli tax transfers are essential for the cash-strapped Palestinian Authority.

We (and the israelis) know very well that at the end they’ll have to release the money to the palastinians, the world will not stand by idle doing nothing, so on my eyes israel is behaving and threatening like little kids, that’s not to say that I’d do something better, but since I’m not the prime minister I don’t have a better solution, but I’d expect them to come up with something more biting

Oh please, don’t make us laugh, BiBi. You threatened also during the Gaza war that Israel wouldn’t pull out until hamas was destroyed. Instead, as soon as obama and ban ki moon pressured you, you pulled out and left hamas standing, and agreed to help rebuild Gaza, and even now are sending cement shipments into Gaza so they can rebuild their tunnels. We’ll see how fast you give in to the pressure this time too and let abbas and his terrorist friends get away with this.
