The White House says David Cohen is Obama’s pick for deputy director of the CIA. He’s currently the Treasury Department’s undersecretary for terrorism and financial intelligence. He’s been the architect of the Obama administration’s economic sanctions against Russia, Iran and North Korea.

Cohen worked previously as an attorney handling white-collar criminal defense, civil litigation and money laundering cases.

He’ll replace outgoing CIA Deputy Director Avril Haines. Obama has named Haines as his deputy national security adviser in the White House

Director of National Intelligence James Clapper says Cohen will bring dedication, intellect and leadership to the CIA.

Ooooh, that “Jew hater” Obama strikes again! I can’t wait to read some of the lame-brained comments I’m sure our frumme Obama haters will be posting. Probably some inane conspiracy theories concerning Obama and Cohen’s secret ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Then again, since this is the weekend, I’m not sure the haters have had a chance to get their talking points from Sean and Rush.
