United Nations – The president of Israel is urging nations to wage an all-out war against genocide saying “the Holocaust of the Jews was not the final chapter in the brutal scheme of man against his fellow man.”

Reuven Rivlin made his remarks the U.N. commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp Wednesday, warning that it is wrong to view Islam, Judaism, or Christianity, as “enemies of the world.”
At a time “when the fundamentalist viper is raising its ugly head,” he said the world has a responsibility “to fight without mercy against the attackers” and protect all the victims.
The anniversary was on Tuesday but the commemoration was held Wednesday because a snow storm shut down much of the New York City.
