Washington – President Barack Obama is pushing back against criticism of his foreign policy, arguing that Americans are safer on his watch.

Obama said in an interview on NBC’s “Today” show broadcast Monday that the U.S. has been “pretty successful” preventing major attacks since Sept. 11, 2001.
He is expressing concern about the “breakdown of order” in the Mideast and parts of North Africa. But he says, “it’s important for us to also just look at the track record of how many Americans have actually been killed during the course of this past decade.”
He says the job of fighting against extremism is never done. He says strategies have to be adapted to the constant changes terrorists are making.
Safer are we? So why is it that every time I get on a train or a plane I wonder if I will ever see my family again?

Safer? Ask the families of the thousands of men and women soldiers who were killed under his watch. Then ask the thousands of wounded men and women who have to live the rest of their lives without hope of recovery. Ask the families near border towns who lost loved ones killed under his watch.
Overseas this is undoubtedly a lie. The world has become much more dangerous with jihad on the rise on every continent. Domestically, we have jihad on the rise as well plus the illegal immigrants with gangs and deseases being carried over the American borders. Immediate offer of $47 million to Hamas when Israel retaliates for the many thousands of rockets? TSA stopping children and elderly while never examining anyone of “Middle Eastern” appearance? Making every police action into a potential civil rights issue against law enforcement officers? Creating Obamacare that destroyed the health care system, with medical decisions now made by bureaucrats, not medical professionals?
