Jerusalem – In a recent interview with the Voice of Israel (http://bit.ly/1uRHBm9) while in Jerusalem this week, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani discussed his views on how the current U.S. administration is handling relations with Israel and what he thinks needs to be done to repair the fragile relationship.

In regards to the invitation given to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in 2011 to speak in front of Congress, Giuliani believes that as a world leader, one needs to make that appearance. Giuliani stated that Netanyahu is one of the “great leaders in dealing with terrorism,” so who better to address the issue in the U.S. government.
Giuliani agrees that Iran shouldn’t have any nuclear activity; calling Iran an “irrational government,” he said he understands Israel’s fear of an attack from Iran should they be allowed to enrich uranium, and hopes that congress will not let that extremely dangerous situation happen.
When asked how the U.S. is leading the effort against Islamic Extremist Terrorism, Giuliani says it’s hard to say when the President Obama won’t even use the words Islamic Extremist Terrorism. Said Giuliani, “It’s like refusing to call the Nazis ‘Nazis’ or the Communists ‘Communists.’”
As far as a Palestinian Authority goes, the former mayor doesn’t understand the “obsession” of past presidents and President Obama to create one, and feels that it would only be creating a state that supports terrorism. According to Giuliani, until Palestine can assure everyone that terrorism is rooted out and that it has a Democratic government, a Palestinian Authority should not be recognized.
He continued to say that the majority of American people support Israel and that President Obama’s views don’t coincide with the American people’s views.

For a change we see Bibi with smile and not the angry face he always shows.
He has a smile because he’s with Rudy, a true supporter of Israel and an enemy of extreme Islam. After 9/11 he refused to accept the financial aid that was sent from Arafat and refused to meet with him.
It’s a pity he did not make it to be president. He’s an amazing leader, no non sense individual. How different things around the world would be with him in power! Sadly, we weren’t zoche.
