There are a few. As a side note, I don’t think that the police should parade people in front of cameras before they are proven guilty. It is Un-American to punish people without a trail.

Before you all come out of the woodwork ranting against the “Heimishe” for never going by the book, remember that the NY systems stinks from the top down.
The gridlock/ beureacracy is virtually impossible to navigate without some sort of “upper hand”. Sad all around.

“Because of the increase in complaints, the buildings department made an extra 10,000 inspections and issued more than 47,700 building code violations — a 10% spike.”

The violations are often given just because someone complained about something, the inspector goes out & even if the complaint is unfounded, he will look for something /anything to give a violation for.

Over 50 people arrested – obviously some will be jewish considering the high jewish population & building owners but it does seem to be on the lower end.

It doesn’t seem like they necessarily did anything “wrong” per se, just paid for an expedited service!
