The teen, identified only by the name Amin, emailed Islamic State decapitation videos to the Israeli consul-general in Marseille, Barnea Hasid, and Jewish member of French parliament Meir Habib. In the email, Amin threatened the two Jewish figures with a similar fate.

During the police’s search of the man’s home, no suspicious items were found, though his family said that he had recently started reading Islamic Jihad materials.

The young man’s lawyer said that the incident was merely that of a confused young man, rather than a serious threat.

French Jewry is increasingly worried due to a significant increase in anti-Semitic attacks, some of them deadly.

On January 9, terrorist Amedy Coulibaly entered Paris’s Hyper Cacher kosher supermarket and murdered Yohan Cohen (22), Philippe Braham (40), François-Michel Saada (64) and Yoav Hattab (21). It came only a days after a related terrorist killed 12 people at the offices of satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo.

Yes, don’t mind him.,, he’s really harmless like those boulder throwing youth in Israel, he must have some poor relatives in Gaza….that’s probably why he hates Jews.

The whole world is watching what France will do with this man. A year in prison or 20 years in prison. That will be the message to the next terrorist. France is lax or France is tough on terrorists. France has to decide what it really wants.
