Jerusalem – In response to criticism that the prime minister’s residence frivolously spends public funds on items such as candles and ice cream, celebrity interior designer Moshik Galamin took a tour of the prime minister’s residence in Jerusalem with the prime ministers wife.

Ahead of a report set to be released by the comptroller on where the funds are spent, the prime minister is determined to dispel the public impression that the residence is in fine condition.
During the tour, the Sara and Galamin pointed out sticking doors, broken lights and curtains with stains on them. At one point, Israel’s first lady said that instead of buying new flowers, they dried old ones and keep them on the piano in order to save money.
I’m really impressed. First. There are mezuzot at every doorpost. What a balabusta Sara Netanyahu is. She manages to keep the rag-tag, worn out carpets and furniture together and run a normal household. The entire house begs for a complete makeover. Yet there are individuals who don’t stop criticizing and complaining that she and her husband are wasting public funds on unnecessary and luxury items. No other head of government in any country would put up with such poor living conditions. It would be interesting to have a tour of the inside of 10 Downing Street. Or the Kremlin. Not to speak of the White house.
