In Copenhagen, people formed a “ring of peace” Friday on the City Hall Square, where Mayor Frank Jensen said “a mad man must not succeed in creating a rift.” Near Stockholm’s synagogue, the crowd, including Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven, held hands Friday as they formed a human chain.
The gatherings were inspired by a similar event in Oslo, Norway, last weekend.
In Paris, three Muslim gunmen killed 17 people in attacks in January. Earlier this month, a single assailant in Copenhagen killed a Jewish security guard outside a synagogue and a Danish filmmaker attending a free speech event.
Wow. Im duly impressed. Their benevolent actions rather convince me, than Bibi’s crazy cries.
כבדהו וחשדהו
Buchenwald was divided in Stammlager, Mittlere Lager and Kleine Lager where I was block 66. In the Mittlere Lager were Danish hostages who received Red Cross packages and when walked by threw food over the barbed wire to us. Glorious Bibi never saw that and believe that anyone should have highest regard for the Danes
Very heartwarming. On the other hand apparently 500 attended Copenhagen terrorist’s funeral
Sweden should use this as an example of support for religious freedom & stop persecuting the Chabad Shluchim for homeschooling their children.
