The theft of the eight torahs – worth up to $400,000 – from a the Jewish Center of Kew Gardens Hills, donated to the synagogue over the last 67 years, was discovered last month during a Saturday’s prayer services.
NYPD of the 107 pct. Detective Squad, made the arrest of two people, and has B”H successfully recovered the 8 scrolls.
