Borough Park, NY - Police released pictures Wednesday of three men wanted for posing as cops and sticking up an illegal card game in Boro Park after handcuffing the players.

The three men bursted into a McDonald Avenue building on Aug. 27 flashing shields and guns demanding cash from their victims, police said.

The trio then ran away. Surveillance video captured their faces.

Police asked anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at (800) 577-TIPS or send a text to 274637 and enter TIP577.

These guys will be locked up for a long time. Impersonating a cop is lot worse than just robbing.

Actually armed robbery is much worse then impersonating a cop, either way they are looking at a lot of time when they are caught.
They probably figured that because it was an illegal game the owners will be afraid to report them, which seems to no have been the case.

In the top picture, the guy is looking RIGHT AT the camera. How could they not have realized they were gonna be identified? It's not like they didn't know there were cameras...

If I'm not mistaken, a card game even for money is not illegal upto a certain amount of ppl. If it's like a casino organized or something is different.

At least that's what the CHANIKE players claim!

The players are the ones to look at.
Why would anyone buy three pairs of handcuffs and come exactly to that place on Mc Donald Ave. and come prepared with badges and shields?
Inside job.
