A Gute Vuch,

I will not Come to the Rally. Malcolm Hoenline has endangered Israel by Uninviting Gov. Palin and angered the Republican party that has been the staunchest supporters of Israel in recent years. Is this being concerned about Israel or being politically correct?

By inviting Gov. Palin he would have gotten the attention needed to rally America to this cause. By uninviting her he has silghted half America and a potential US President and portrayed us as backstabbers and disloyal. By not coming we can undo the damage and show that Jews are not represented Malcolm Hoenline.

THE WAY TO STOP IRAN IS BY PANDERING TO THOSE WHO HAVE OUR INTEREST AT HEART NO THOSE WHO KISS TERRORISTS WHEN IT SUITS THEM. You never uninvite a person that you have already invited when they have done no wrong, especially not a potential VP or maybe even a potential President. I hope others will boycott this event and have heard that there is a movement to boycott the rally. People are very angry just listen to people, people are upset.

To 1:00 AM Mr Hoenline was on Nachum Siegal Friday Morning. He explained very clearly why his organization had to disinvite Mrs. Palin. Once the democrats made it into a political thing by pulling Clinton out, his orginizations status with the IRS was in jepordy. I have one word for Clinton, CRYBABY. I lost any respect I had for her.

What a dumb thing to do to uninvite her. If Hillary doesn’t want to come let her stay home and do the dishes with Bill but why would we uninvite Palin. It makes no sense. There is nothing political about this since high ranking members of both camps have been invited. Poor move Malcolm.

To 2:12 A better word would be SORE LOSER. Clinton always wanted to be the first woman president, now Mrs Palin has a very good chance to do it.

THe excuses that were given tonight on the radio was deplorable. Excuses excuses excuses……..

Isn’t it amazing that there is absolutely no values or moral ethics or any type of leadership in the jewish community anymore.

It seems that Judiasm is not a religion anymore only a freeking business. And we go around wondering why there is such a thing as kids at risk? Just look at leadership from all levels. Nobody has guts to do what is right anymore. All about money and pandering to “lawyers advice” is and which was BAD advice.

As 2:12 said Hoenline had no choice. Anyone listening tonight could hear how upset he is at Clinton and the democrats for politicizing this event. Everyone should be united against evil. WE should now all be united against Clinton and the dumb-ocrats.

Put the blame where it should be put. Clinton is a soreloser and a crybaby. To make this event into a political event was disgusting.

As a Jew I am outraged and agree with my friends that I will no longer support any of the sponsors of this rally. These groups don’t have the backbone to do what is right and I want no part of such cowards. There was no merit to the threats.

We have seen that Hillary chose politics over issues that are crucial to us and then we disinvite a person who is willing to support us.

What a chutzpah!

Jews and Americans stand up for what you believe in and tell those that dear threaten us “go ahead and try”. If these Jewish organizations fold to threats it is sad for all of us, where is the power in these organizations (take these politicians to Israel, for what? So that they can blackmail you). I want to see the names of those politicians and people who threatened them. Let the organiations publish their names, let us spread the word on election day and make sure we unseat them.

I know where my vote is going on election day to those who wish to stand with us. I know where my donation is going that used to go to these organizations, now it will go to support Palin.

These organizations can be ashamed of themselves, I just went to their websites trying to see some explanaition and nothing.

This is what causes anti-semitism. You applaud those that walk away from us? Will we forgot what Hillary did? Will we forget what the Democrats did? Will we remember where Palin stood? Will we allow the Jewish organizations to represent us like this?

I will not. I ask that all Jews with any self respect send a email or call Governor Palin’s office with a simple message saying that we appreciate her position and that we were outraged with what happened to her. Second, let Hillary and other democrats get a similar message of our outrage. Third, call each of these sponsoring organizations and let them know how we feel with their cowardly act.

Those that do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it:

If this is all that it takes for them to fold, wait until issues come up that threaten us at home. The Hungarian Jews during WWII had a Jewish organization that was supposed to represent them until they made a deal with Eichman, they didn’t inform the Jews of the master plan to wipe them all out.

Sounds far fetched but it’s only politics, right?

This could have been a huge rally, what a shame. United Americans could have stood together (Republicans and Democrats, Jews and Gentiles, from all walks of life).

Those who wished to attend should have been allowed to speak. Those who chose not to come, too bad. instead these organizations are to blame for the politics.

What do you expect from secular Jewish groups and modern orthodox Jewish groups who sit with reform and conservative heretics in one organization. All the leading Rabbis from Rabbi Moshe Feinstein,Lubavitcher Rebbe,Rabbi Aharan Kotler, and many others forbid p[raying in non orthodox temples and forming organizations with them. Now you pay the price.Once again we Jews are back stabbers to individuals who are very pro Israel. In fact I wonder if these groups really care about Israel or our communities here. I think their rally was to pander to the politicians on both sides to attract funding to continue lining their greedy pockets. When the head of these groups rakes in a million dollar salary plus, you see why they chicken out when some democrat warns them of losing programs. SHAME SHAME SHAME. The best solution is to either boycott the rally by not attending or by showing up with sighns that read we want Palin. If we get 50 guys to yell we want Palin we can disrubt the rally and make the media aware how upset Jews are over hillary and her ilk.

I listened to Ruskay last night on Brenner. Did you hear the arrogant tone? Incredible. He should have been humble and asking mechila from Palin and the Jewish community.

When is the last time that you heard a tax exempy organization losing its exempt atatus because one party’s rep cancels. Did the Naacp lose its status when Reagon didn’t speak there? or the NRA?

Ruskay is INSULTING OUR INTELLIGENCE. His layers advice cover is bull, a lat resort by every miscreant who is caught with his pants down; I’m really innocent but my lawyers advised etc. NO- GUILTY.

Boycott this event and the Ruskays will have to resign, and maybe the next group of so-called leaders will behave better.

The rally is worthless anyway without Gentile politicians- it shows that only a bunch of Jews are protesting.

In addition, the next time I get a call in my office from UJA- Federation for money- I will tell them- GO ASK OBAMA- CLINTON>

The IRS issue is nonsense. Both parties were invited and Hilary decided not to attend, so what! Ruskay’s arrogance is insulting to the entire Jewish community and he did not say one word that sounded credible. It’s amazing that UJA Federation has such leadership!

It was Hillary Clinton who missed a great opportunity!

Instead of saying, “I can’t be on the same stage with Palin.”

Instead, Clinton could have said, “Fine, we are both against Iranian Hate and pro American Freedom. This is not political, this is humane. Being humane is not Republican or Democrat. It is truth and justice.”

We all get the message. You’ve all made the obvious points and conclusions.

All we have to do now is vote Palin in AND vote Clinton out from any seat in New York. What a despicable itch (with a capital B)!!!

Can you imagine what kind of leader she would be? This is only a little drop of her true colors showing. We should be glad it started coming out now. Vote Clinton out. Send her packing. Arkansas is wanting them back.

Hoenlein screwed up the minute he decided to call only the mccain campaign just to get himself a photo op with palin.

that titally politicized the event, bringing in speakers from a campaign.

hillary dropped out to unpolticize the circus that began the moment people heard that the two of them would be there together. clinton actually cared aobut the cause which is why she dropped.

Of course, hoenlein screwed up a second time when he decided to disinvite palin which was a stupid thing to do once she was booked. the claim they make about tax threats is a total cop op and false excuse for being stupid. what are they afraid of? who threateneed them? it sounds made up to detract from their stupidity and to make excuses instead of admitting that they screed up and made two very very big and embarassing mistakes.

10:38, thats not what happened.

Hillary was booked to speak as she has been at many of these rallies to come speak as an elected official from new york. she was coming to speak as herself, and as a new york senator and as an advocate of the cause who understands the threat of iran.

She was not a representative of the democratic party and certainly not of the obama campain. this was to be an apolitical event and she was going to speak as she has in the past (alongside other elected officals who being from new york happen to be democrats). the organizers felt some need to contact the mccain campaign itself during the republican convention to invite a speaker and they got palin. It was not until weeks later, this past wednesday after they totally politicized the event by announcing palin that they first contact the obama campaign. they were going to send robert wexler and within 24 hours was the big meeting that they decided to disinvite all elected officials.

the mistake was inviting palin, it should never have been done. but to say they equally invited both campaigns is very wrong and misleading.

I listened very carefully to Zev Brenner and John Ruskay. There was no arrogance; it was a little formal but he came across as a warm human being wanting to set the record straight because some of the “chayas” and hyenas in our community have launched a campaign against Malcolm Hoenline unfairly. They don’t realize that the LEFT WING behamos have been stirring up the trouble even before Clinton backed out; that those people led to the avalanche of legal challenges to the rally if only one presidential ticket was officially represented (yes, Obama campaign could have said that Hillary was their rep but they chose in their arrogance and hatred for her not to). So I think we should keep the entire context in mind; attend the rally and recognize that the friendship from Ruskay to Hoenline brought him on the show – not because he had nothing better to do with a Motzei Shabbos – Slichos Saturday night.

A gut gebenched yor to all.

Its a shame hillary dropped out. We could of booed her off stage for representing the real enemy.obama.He and his sidekick Biden both refuse to allow Israel to strike first. I guess they would love to see 6 million more dead Jews. In fact Biden was the one who wave his finger in Menachem Begins face and warned him that aid would be cut off to Israel if they didnt return the west bank and Jerusalem. And these fat bareheaded secular JINOS Jewish in name only claim to be leaders of our community earning 2 to 3 million dollars a year off public donations. No normal Jew should donate to UJA or federation or JNF.

If you want to help Israel send it directly to institutions in Israe. oTHERWISE THE FAT CATS SKIM OFF HALF TO FILL THEIR POCKETS AND STOMACHS WITH HAM AND LOBSTERS. SHAME ON THEM

Whoever made this DUMB decision (s that lead) to disinviting Palin should be sent packing immediately.

If it’s true as some have stated that the head honcho of this organization is pulling in $1,000,000 a year – they should be dumped ASAP.

For that kind of money we should be able to do much better.

We can’t afford this kind of immature conduct – it makes us all look stupid and erodes any power and influence that we so desperatley need in order to promote the critical issues that face jews and Israel.

Charlie Hall,

I hope that was said tongue in cheek. Hillary was invited too. Is she not a politician?? Granted she is other things too but she is a politician!

Politicans are invited to these things and if they are smart they try to show or have someone show in their stead.

The left wing liberal dems really blew it on this one and we must all do our part to remember their great silence when we vote on election day.

Vote Republican!

Hillary’s record is out theire for anyone to see should they care to take a look at it. you will not only find a 100% perfect pro-israel voting record for all her years in the senate, but you will find a litany of action taken on behalf of so many issues of importance to us from holocaust restitution to iran to breast cancer to palestinaian indoctrination of children on tv and schoolbooks (something which has been her own personal crusade for the last 7 years which she took the lead on).

Bubba that is a flat out lie. Hillary was booked as the NY Senator.

No one from the rally contacted the obama campaign until this past wednesday and they responded by planning to send robert wexler.

And yes it would be rediculous if the presidents conference actually invited one presidential campaign a month before the election to a non political rally and cause which has always enjoyed bipartisan support.

Make no mistake aboutthat – the pro israel community has friends in both parties who served the casue well
