Jerusalem – Israeli Police Say Plan To Arrest Suspected Pashkevilim Poster Praising Gay Pride Parade Stabbings

Israel – Jerusalem Police have launched an investigation into dozens of posters affixed publicly in several ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods throughout the capital praising the stabbings and murder carried out by Yishai Schlissel during the Jerusalem Gay Pride Parade last month.

According to police, the posters were distributed by a group called “The Faithful Jewry,” which honored Schlissel for carrying out the July 30 attack that took the life of 16-year-old Shira Banki, and wounded five others.

Many of the posters featured quotes the Old Testament and blessed Schlissel as a sacrificial emissary from God. “Whoever spills the blood of the wicked is as if he brought a sacrifice,” one stated.

Another compared Schlissel to Phineas, who stabbed an Israelite man and Midianite woman with a spear for having intercourse, which was believed to have ended a plague brought by God for improper sexual relations among the groups.

Schlissel, 50, from Modiin Illit in the West Bank, was released from prison three weeks before the parade after serving a 10-year prison sentence for committing a similar attack at the capital’s Gay Pride Parade in 2005.

Following his arrest last month, he rejected the court’s authority and has been ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation to determine if he is fit to stand trial.

Police said on Sunday that officers are questioning suspects believed to be behind the posters, and plan on making arrests in the coming days.

I forget, this is the place called the only democracy in the Middle East?
    What a joke.

Would it be appropriate to shoot the animals posting such vile Pashkevilim and give kovod to the shooters for ridding EY of such vermin? Perhaps not but that may be what is required as a deterrent.

Very sad indeed. I don’t read Hebrew, but from what the article says, it appears similar to the bumper stickers I have seen already a few times this week in New York that says “Yishai Schlissel We Love You” .

#1 Are you insane? Would you like your family’s photo on a poster with words of encouragement to kill you all if the poster had a disagreement with you? How about Jews generally?

When Arabs have streets named after their terrorist who murder jews the big fat cowardly Israeli government is quiet. A few posters in meah shearim bothers them. The fault of the stabbing are the two so called religious parties shas and UTJ. Had they threatened to bring down this government or cancel jerusalem gay parade, there would be no parade. Had bi bi not given them money promised then they would threaten to leave the government coalition. Every day there are a dozen or more attacks by Arabs throughout israel but the police are busy with poster hangers. In one week alone there were 116 calls by Jews being attacked by Arabs. This is the medina. Satmar rebbe was correct years ago. He realized how corrupt the tzionim were. They incite the Moslem world with toeiva parades and wonder why Iran and Isis are gridding their teeth to destroy israel. This is a serious culture war. I thank G-d I am not living in this medina of evil and my family isnot exposed to the filth of the current israeli culture.

“The Myth of Israeli Democracy” by Professor Eidelberg for the naive ones who foolishly believe that Israel is a democracy.
…on theoretical as well as on practical grounds that Israel is not a democracy…

Beneath the democratic veneer of periodic, multiparty elections—which has endowed Israel with legitimacy and its ruling elites with respectability—there lurks a democratically elected dictatorship or despotism. Since I find it difficult to believe that Israeli departments of political science departs are ignorant of this undemocratic state of affairs, I dare say that the people of Israel have been deliberately kept in a state of ignorance about this undemocratic state of affairs and therefore have been deliberately disempowered since the very founding of their so-called democratic state!

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that democracy in the Middle East is the key to peace?and so it may be. But what about democracy in Israel? Of course, Israel is democratic compared to its autocratic Arab neighbors. But is this something to be proud of?

I find it appalling that in EY a Jew can be arrested for expressing an opinion, but the Arabs can express much worse things and all they get are subsidies. The Israeli Government are a disaster for Judaism and joke of a Democracy.

Years from now this event may be seen as the moment when gay “rights” took over Israel, including “marriage” (it failed by only 11 votes less then a month ago). It’s our jobs to make sure this doesn’t happen, that will be the best thing we can actually do for her nishama.

The sad fact is this poor soul died of misa mishuna (a plus for a kapara) while she doing a mesis umodiach action (which is about as bad as possible). She has already become a martyr for toevah. If we allow her memory to solely be used to pass evil toevah laws (including “marriage”) it will make her, be punished for every action that results due to her sin of going to a masis umodiach parade. We know that even the dead our judged every single yom kippur for the actions that result from their life (for things that occurred over the course of the past year, because of their actions in their life) If the only thing she has going for her is this, it will be disastrous for her.

If you want to do something for her soul take upon yourself to do whatever you can to stop the gay movement both in Eretz Yisroel and throughout the world for her zicharon, that is the only thing that will bring nechama to her soul!

Tzpi Lvivni is now pushing a same sex “marriage” bill, a gay propaganda teaching bill that would be have a pro gay curriculum for all schools (demographics) as they see fit, amongst many other bills

    all named after the girl.

stop talking about the past and fight the future. If the Jewish community would have fought properly and stopped this parade years ago (talking to you Ger) this tragic event never would have happened.

Yishai is really a great person and did the right thing to confront a growing insane group, he should have trampled them with a truck instead of stabbing them. I am sure you are upset with this comment but look what happened to the former orthodox Jewish communities in Germany which became reforms and Poland they stayed frum, why? When a person tried to poison the Geiger idea into Jews he got stoned or cherem or kicked out of the heim. It’s up to u to judge!
