The video, which appears to be an edited segment from one of the Grand Theft Auto video games, shows a haredi man with a beard and side locks physically attacking pedestrians and shouting at them “it’s Shabbat today.”

It has been uploaded to Youtube and passed around social media networks although has not received a large number of views.

Members of the haredi community have been known to vocally object to drivers and others in the vicinity of haredi neighborhoods who are publicly not observing the laws of the Sabbath, and the video is seemingly a parody of that behavior.

“In these sensitive times, we are dealing with incitement against different sectors of Israeli society, and your speedy intervention is critical and urgent and zero tolerance should be shown to people who created and disseminated this video,” said Bar.

“This video represents a call to violence and incitement against an entire community in the country. Complacency would very dangerous. We have an obligation to prevent this extremist and dangerous video from receiving a platform and God forbid from going beyond the internet.

Bar demanded that an investigation be opened into who created the video and that it be taken down from social media networks.

The MK should be demanding a crackdown on his fellow Chareidim who actually behave like the animal depicted in the video rather than seeking to have the video taken down. Its hard to understand why the police continue to show such restraint when dealing with the Chareidim who attack other yidden for not conforming to their hashkafah.

They are not attacking people who have different haskofahs but people who violate shabbos.
