Bronx – Amid Inquiry, Builder Is Called to Testify About Work for Former Police Commissioner Kerik

    Bronx – A builder who helped renovate former Police Commissioner Bernard B. Kerik’s Riverdale apartment has been called to testify before a Bronx grand jury about who paid for tens of thousands of dollars in work there.
    The Bronx district attorney’s office and the city’s Department of Investigation, which have been investigating the dealings involving Mr. Kerik’s apartment for about a year, would not comment or describe the exact nature of the grand jury’s inquiry.
