ISRAELNATIONALNEWS.com (http://goo.gl/deuwVV) reports that Sarah-Tehiya Litman, whose father Rabbi Yaakov Litman and brother Netaniel were murdered on Friday by terrorists on their way to Shabbat Hatan, extended the nationwide invitation on Tuesday accompanied by a quote saying, “Do not rejoice over me, my enemy, for I have fallen but I have gotten up.”
With her husband-to-be, Ariel Bigel, by her side, Ms. Litman said, “This evening, instead of wearing the bridal dress, I will sit on the floor with a torn shirt. But very soon, we will marry in a large and happy wedding. We will go on and be happy as Father and Netanel always were. We will not be crushed.”
“This will be the million-person wedding,” said the couple. “Multitudes will come to make us happy.”
Both hosson and kalah are very brave.
Oy nebach nebach G——-D have mercy on all Jews and on this broken family. We should all cry for this family.
But unfortunately if you listen to what she says we can see how much she is Nebach brainwashed by the Zionist ideology. She says “there is no security and the Arabs drive and behave like animals”. Agreed.
Why should any normal person normal Jew live among animals who are seeking to kill them on a daily basis?
Pikuach Nefesh doesn’t seem to exist by right wing Zionist. To them it is almost worth to be killed for.
How many more Jews must be killed for an Ideology which goes against Hashgacha Pratis.
only word that comes to mind is heartbreaking
all of Israel is with her on her day of sadness and on her day of happiness
may HaShem give her the zechut to built a bayit ne’eman b’Yisroel adai ad…
Maven-of-Nothing,
May we all be like this brave, “brainwashed” Kallah, as she builds a new home for Klal Yisrael in Eretz Yisrael!
You can’t even wish her well and then have to criticize her on top of it? Why, because you once read V’Yoel Moshe? Do you really feel so safe? Chazal tell us that only those who are Ba’alei Chesed will be saved from Chevlei Mashiach. Do you think your nasty, smarmy comments fall under the definition of Chesed?
I am not going to argue back and forth with people who say “I’ve made up my mind don’t confuse me with facts.
Any Yid who can say to Jews who live in dangerous territory “go live there you doing a great Mitzvoh for Klal Yisroel” has blood on their hands.
You all who scream with Zionist nationalistic tunes that we should support those who live in dangerous settlements have no feelings for those families.
Where else in the world do Jews have to walk around with guns?
Are you guys this crazy?
Don’t Jewish lives have any values?
Pikuach Nefesh comes before everything and for sure before this “giant Mitzvoh of living among Palestinian animals.
Number 3, perhaps they should live somewhere safe, like Paris. Have you been under a rock? These terrorists live to kill, even in a place like France that hates Jews.
This Kalla is so wonderful because she sees something bigger than herself, a nation of Hashem’s people living in Hashem’s back yard and eagerly awaiting Moshiach. If it does not happen in her life at least she will have added to the children of Hashem who are engaging in Torah lives in Israel. A life like that is valuable whether it lasts 18 years, 42 years or 120 years.
What a beautiful Kiddush Hashem!
Maven makes a very valid point. The fact is that the talmidim of R’ Tzvi Yehuda Kook believe that living in the shtachim is a fulfillment of the mitzvah of kibush ha’aretz which is a special mitzvah of milchama that allows for putting lives in danger in order to settle the land. Many of the settlers live by this shittah and they knowingly bring themselves and their innocent children into life threatening danger on a daily basis. Although it is heartbreaking to watch, it is also sad to watch young innocent people live lives that run against the basic principles of yiddishkeit as most gedolei Yisroel interpret it. The fact that they are dedicated so strongly to this cause with such a temimus makes it only sadder.
