Queens, NY – The NYPD says two men are dead after a car rear-ended a truck that was stopped on the shoulder of the Grand Central Parkway in Astoria, Queens.

Police say both victims were in the eastbound car. The crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. Friday.
It’s not clear why the box truck was parked on the roadway.
The truck driver remained at the scene. He was not seriously injured
The investigation is ongoing.
