Manchester, NH – Much like several other national polls that have been released this week, a new WBUR poll out today reveals that GOP frontrunner Donald J. Trump’s divisive comments about banning all Muslims tom entering the U.S. are actually helping and not hurting the billionaire mogul, as he continues to hold a commanding lead over the rest of the Republican filed in the Granite State primary.

WBUR.org (http://wbur.fm/1RebbkQ) reports that the results of its new poll, compiled through several surveys conducted by the MassINC Polling Group, shows Trump with his biggest lead to date in New Hampshire, pulling in 27% of the vote among GOP primary voters.
The poll shows New Jersey Governor Chris Christie making the most strides behind Trump, currently sitting in second place with 12%.
Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and Jeb Bush round out the top five with 11%, 10%, and 8% respectively.
Like some other national surveys, WBUR’s results, which were obtained both before and after Trump’s explosive mid-week comments about banning Muslims form the U.S., show a decided bump in his numbers flowing his statement.
Pollster Steve Koczela said, “The question that people have been asking this week is whether the comments that Donald Trump made earlier this week would hurt him. And what this poll shows is that in New Hampshire that certainly was not the case.”

And this is how it happened with the Nazis.
1. Name recognition is the biggest factor in polls (both predictive polls and the actual voting in the primaries and the general election); Trump is very good at dominating the news by saying provocative stuff. He also capitalizes on events as they occur and feeds on the public’s fears. 2. Not only is he great at getting his name out there, he also dominates the media that the other candidates get no air time and are unknown to many. 3. As other candidates fall out, the remaining candidate(s) will get more media attention and name recognition and will be able to “stand out from the crowd”. 4. Trump is seen as a buffoon and clown by many. He is also disliked by many. In a heads up battle against most candidates, Trump would lose decisively. I’m not sure how he would do 1-on-1 against Ben Carson, but he would have no chance against anyone else. 5. If several candidates stay in the race, Trump may continue to lead and may receive the most Delegates, but certainly not enough to win the nomination. 6. He would probably be one of the worst candidates against Hillary. 7. Other candidates will give their delegates to others, not to Trump. 8. Trump has NO CHANCE of being the President.
I am frightened silly that people view Trump’s anti Moslem rhetoric as something positive, because let’s face it, there are a lot more of them than us. And when these Trump supporters realize the Moslems are unstoppable, guess who they’re going to target next!
