The State Department on Wednesday re-issued its travel advisory, urging US citizens and diplomatic personnel to avoid the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip and certain areas of Area A in the West Bank.

“The security environment remains complex in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza,” the State Department said. “US citizens need to be aware of the continuing risks of travel to areas…where there are heightened tensions and security risks.”

Last month, Ezra Schwartz, a Massachusetts native, was killed in a terrorist attack by a Palestinian gunman in the Gush Etzion cluster of Jewish settlements between Jerusalem and Hebron.

I agree with #2 . Every day in the USA, there are over 50 homicides, and thousands of felonious assaults and armed robberies. Therefore, why doesn’t the idiotic State Dept. (which has never been a friend to Yidden going back to World War Two), issue an advisory to Americans that it is unsafe to travel within the USA? Last year, when terrorists killed dozens at the Karachi Airport in Pakistan, and destroyed several planes, the FAA did not stop american commercial airlines from landing there. However, when one stray rocket landed near Ben Gurion, it shut stopped all US Air, United, and Delta from flying to EY.
