No Israelis were injured in the incident.
According to a police statement, the officers noticed that the woman began accelerating her vehicle toward their position. At that point, one of the officers opened fire and scored a direct hit, killing the motorist.
Car rammings have been a commonly used tactic by Palestinian assailants during the course of what is becoming known in Israel as “the lone wolf intifada” that has unfolded these past few months.
Earlier on Friday, clashes broke out between Palestinian protesters and the IDF in the West Bank.
Some 150 Palestinians rioted near the Tekoa settlement in the Gush Etzion area. The IDF used tear gas and rubber bullets in an attempt to disperse the protesters.
Separately a clash broke out on the outskirts of Ramallah, near the Beit El settlement in the Binyamin region of the West Bank.

Shouldn’t the caption read “Palestinian Terrorist” instead of “Palestinian Motorist?” We know that she was a motorist if she tried to run them over!
way to go !!!!!! Haboo lehurguch haskeim lehurgoi
I am surprised at the fact that Netanyahu did not apologize yet to the Palestinians for killing this motorist. What an insensitive person.
