In a filing Tuesday, former Port Authority of New York and New Jersey official Bill Baroni says the suit filed by residents and business owners in Fort Lee should be dismissed because it fails to specify what damages occurred and doesn’t connect him to the alleged plot.

The traffic jams caused massive gridlock in Fort Lee in September 2013, allegedly as retaliation against Mayor Mark Sokolich for not endorsing Christie for re-election.

Baroni and former Christie aide Bridget Kelly face separate criminal charges in federal court.

Christie hasn’t been charged. His re-election organization is a defendant in the lawsuit and has filed to have the suit tossed.
