Trump tells a crowd of thousands at a rally in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, that he has read reports about the former president’s plans to campaign with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

Trump says Jeb Bush “tried the mother, that didn’t work out so good. Now he’s bringing in his brother.”

Trump repeated his own opposition to the war in Iraq and pointed to George W. Bush “getting us in that quicksand.”

He says, “That was a horrible call to go in.”

Trump says he’ll leave Jeb Bush alone if his campaign stops airing negative ads against him.

The Daily Show did a great segment on Trump’s followers yesterday. My favorite was the man who insisted, several times, that Trump will get the Chinese to pay for the wall. The woman who said that she didn’t want Trump to give any specific details for his proposals because the other candidates would steal them is a runner-up.

To : #’s 1 and 2- There are many white collar Yidden supporting Trump; not all of Trump’s supporters are blue collar, redneck, trailer trash. Regarding George W. Bush, I remember when the Lewinsky scandal broke in 1998, George W. Bush stated “I can assure you that if I am President, that will never happen. Yet, credible reports have emerged in recent years, that #41 , and Condoleeza Rice, had a three year relationship, while he was President. Also, when #41 was President, he, the FBI and CIA, ignored reports of terrorist activity in the USA, for eight months, until 9/11/01. Therefore, to quote Trump, “bring it on”.

To Eli-#4- The 9/11 Commission Report (which you can read at your local library, assuming that you use a library), clearly stated that both the FBI and CIA did not exchange information with each other, concerning known terrorists, who were in the USA, some of whom were the actual 9/11 hijackers.. Also, the FBI ignored reports from its field offices, about Middle Eastern men, taking flying lessons, without wanting to learn how to land large planes. The FBI refused to authorize search warrants, which would have exposed the 9/11 plot, and saved thousands of lives. All of this occurred during #43 ’s administration. He gave terrorism a very low priority, during his first eight months in office. Regarding Bush and Condoleeza Rice, their affair was hushed up, and squashed for years. Laura Bush found out about it, and briefly moved to a hotel. Before Bush (#43 ) had heart surgery a few years ago, he begged for Laura’s forgiveness. I am not a member of the Tea Party. However, facts are facts. As Sgt. Joe Friday used to state “Just give me the facts”.
