A nearby Police patrol returned fire, neutralizing two terrorists.
The the Jerusalem Police Spokesperson’s office has confirmed that a squad of three terrorist armed with Carl Gustav sub-machine guns has attempted to carry out a mass shooting attack along the walls of the Old City in Jerusalem.
“A terrorist attack has just occurred in the vicinity of the Damascus Gate, one of the terrorists is confirmed dead by a Police patrol unit at the scene, another one has been neutralized as well,” said a Police spokesperson in a statement immediately following the incident.
