Brooklyn, NY – Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz this afternoon toured Brighton Beach, helping children make matzo at a local bakery.

Cruz visited the Chabad Neshama Model Matzah Bakery, Chabad Director Rabbi Moshe Winner said that he told Cruz “that we’re happy that’s he’s here to support the Jewish holiday” of Passover, “Matzah is all about freedom.”
Cruz rolled some matzah, and spoke to children from the community who were present at bakery about freedom.
Winner added that neither he nor the Chabad Center was endorsing Cruz.
“We welcome everybody, we don’t officially support any of the candidates.” Rabbi Winner told DNAinfo.
Winner added that the Cruz campaign reached out to the center “because of our connection to the community.”
Cruz is also making a public appearance at the Jewish Center of Brighton Beach at 2915 Ocean Parkway.
The Texas senator won the Wisconsin primary on Tuesday, but still trails Donald Trump 743 delegates to 517.
The New York primary is set for April 19, with more Trump-friendly northeastern states like Connecticut and Pennsylvania set to vote on April 26.

My issue is this: Cruz courts religious voters, Jewish and Christian, but he is still unethical and a liar at the end of the day. He’s stolen votes and is determined to steal delegates and use all sorts of subterfuge, deceit, and mudslinging to steal the election from Donald Trump. Cruz is profoundly crooked and he’s a real nasty guy. No morals whatsoever. Trump is shrewd and is a family man. He never stooped to the pits of tumah like Cruz in order to get votes.
How any frum person could support Cruz is imbecilic. He’s a 100 % neo’fascist, vote repressing, evangelical hater. His own colleagues hate him. Ugh.
