He says it’s important to elect leaders who believe compromise isn’t a dirty word, who listen to those who disagree with them and respect those who are unlike them.

Obama mentioned Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruz several times in remarks at a House Democratic fundraiser late Friday at the Los Angeles home of Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn and his wife, Cindy, an environmental advocate.

Actors Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Julia Roberts and Gwyneth Paltrow were among the approximately 100 people who attended, along with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, a California Democrat, and other members of Congress. Tickets cost $33,400 per couple.

Obama was attending three fundraisers in California on Friday.‎

Democracy has been “at stake” (more like burned at the stake) for the last eight years. He’s convinced me that politicians shouldn’t be in politics.

Huh? Democracy is the will of the people, and if the people decide they want a leader who is a narcissist megalomaniac, a raving socialist, or a chronic liar, that is their choice.

Just as it was their choice to elect a naive, far-left, “pnei hador kpnei hakelev” leader seven and three years ago.

why does this utter failure of a president think he is in any position to keep commenting on the elections?! H is terrified that a competent republican president will come in and clean up the mess he’s leaving us with because that will only highlight what a disaster he was!

He’s absolutely right on this case. Democracy IS on the line. Which is why it’s so important to vote the democrats OUT! It’s the only way to keep our country free.
I always laugh when this imbecile starts mouthing off about politics. Anything he says we need, like a president who can comprise, he doesn’t do.
Remember when he told Eric Cantor, “I won”? Remember how her refused to comprise with him?

The biggest problem democracy has in this country is the domination of special interests, including dinners for $$33,400.

That’s rich! Coming from a president whose party advocates for bigger, more totalitarian federal government – from a president who is guilty of levels of executive overreach and of the degradation of separation of powers more than any before him. Republicans on the other hand advocate for smaller government, less regulation, and more freedom, and yet Hussein can get away with manipulatively twisting that into a loss of democracy. The posh guest list seems so highbrowed and air headed that they can’t see past his idiocy. These people are delusional.
