Rami Hamdallah told a group of donor representatives on Wednesday that only one-third of the roughly $3.5 billion pledged at a 2014 conference has been delivered. The donors are to meet next week in Brussels.
Israel battled Gaza’s ruling Hamas militant group during a 50-day war in the summer of 2014 in what it said was a campaign to halt rocket fire out of the territory. More than 2,200 Palestinians, including hundreds of civilians, were killed, according to Palestinian and U.N. figures. In Israel, 66 soldiers and seven civilians were killed.
An Israeli bombing campaign also damaged or destroyed thousands of homes. Hamdallah said 75,000 Palestinians remain homeless.
1 – No one can trust the reports from Hamas about homeless, homes destroyed, or anything else. Dishonesty is legitimate in their world.
2 – How about addressing their continued campaigns to destroy Israel? Rockets, building tunnels, etc.?
3 – The monies that did reach Gaza did not reach the “humanitarian” targets at all. The funds were used to develop more weapons, train terrorists, dig tunnels, and enrich the “leaders” of Hamas. Who should deliver more money to Gaza, and most of all, why?
Instead of being terrorists, and digging tunnels to attack civilians ahead of building homes and hospitals, maybe they would even get the money from Israel. If Gaza needs $3.5b how much would Syria need?
they are asking for donations to fill the pockets of hamas so that they can dig tunnels faster.
i would take all donations if they come forward, build a brand new island in the middle of the mediterranean with all luxuries available and lure all palestinian people to go live in paradise on earth, and clear all of gaza to become part of israel, then and only then will there be some peace, (maybe)
