Washington – House Republicans and Democrats are urging President Barack Obama to reject any actions by the United Nations to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that are biased against Israel.

In a letter sent to Obama on Thursday, 388 House members say one-sided initiatives may come up at the U.N. in the coming months. They say these proposals should be vetoed because they can block the two sides from resuming the direct negotiations that are the key to resolving their complicated differences.
The lawmakers say they remain committed to a two-state solution.
They say they share Obama’s frustration with the lack of progress toward peace.
The 388 members account for nearly 90 percent of the House.
The letter was led by Democrat Nita Lowey of New York and Republican Kay Granger of Texas.
Sweet dreams. This president cares nothing for Congress. He has viewed them as either a tool to legitimize his crooked and dangerous policies, or an obstacle that would divert him to make executive orders to bypass them. His successors will have a major challenge to undo the damage he has done to our country, foreign relations, our alliances with other nations, especially Israel, and the UN. Obama has been one of the greatest menaces to our government in history, and the disgrace he has earned should be ever present at any mention of his name.
This letter can have even more signatures. He will instruct his appointee in the UN do follow his wishes, with zero regard for fairness, our alliances with Israel, his promises, or simple morality. Obama has never met a terrorist he did not wish to support.
