Brooklyn, NY - One day after the NYPD released surveillance video of a man who groped a Jewish girl in a kosher grocery store in Williamsburg, police have a suspect in custody.

As previously reported on VIN News, the seven year old girl was in Southside Food Plaza on Bedford Avenue late Monday afternoon when she was grabbed by an unidentified man who then fled the premises.

53 year old Pasquale Vittiburga was arrested yesterday and charged with 2 counts of Sex Abuse, 2 counts of Forcible Touching and Acting in a Manner Injurious to a Child under 17. Police said that they could not say yet how their investigation led them to Vittaburga, who lives just over a mile from Southside Food Plaza.

Vittiburga’s police record lists a 2010 arrest for criminal possession of a weapon and criminal sale of marijuana as well as two other sealed arrests.
