The House panel, which held a hearing last week on long lines at airport security checkpoints, did not give a reason for Kelly Hoggan’s dismissal as TSA assistant administrator for security operations.

Members of the committee criticized the TSA for awarding over $90,000 in bonuses and awards to Hoggan over a 13-month period.

TSA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.‎

The TSA is useless and worthless; since its creation, it has never apprehended one terrorist. Instead of using profiling, as is the case at Ben-Gurion Airport, or at El Al, it harasses elderly passengers and small children, as well as other members of the flying public. It has a turnover of over 28% per year. It has employed many workers with criminal records, and has witnessed countless workers stealing cash and other valuables from the hand carried luggage, as well as checked in luggage of passengers. Its regulations are not consistent, and differ at different gates, within the same airport! It seems that anything our government touches turns to —-.

Before they fired him, they should have made him wait on line at a TSA checkpoint!
