New York – Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Saturday tweeted an image of rival Hillary Clinton alongside hundred-dollar bills and a Jewish star bearing the words “most corrupt candidate ever!”, prompting outrage and bafflement on social media.

Two hours after his initial tweet, Trump tweeted a similar image in which the six-pointed Star of David – which appears on Israel’s flag and which Jews were forced to wear on their clothing by the Nazis during the Holocaust – was replaced by a circle. The original tweet was deleted.
Critics said the image featuring the star harkened back to centuries-old anti-Semitic stereotypes, such as the belief that Jews are greedy.
“Just saw #DonaldTrump’s Star of David tweet. I’m impressed by his ability to find a way to insult literally every kind of human being,” screenwriter Cole Haddon wrote on Twitter.
“A Star of David, a pile of cash, and suggestions of corruption. Donald Trump again plays to the white supremacists,” wrote Erick Erickson, a conservative radio host who has been critical of Trump.
The tweets originated from Trump’s account, @realDonaldTrump, and no other users were mentioned in them. It was not clear whether someone inside Trump’s campaign made the image or whether he found it somewhere else. Hope Hicks, a spokeswoman for Trump, did not respond to a request for comment.
The presumptive Republican nominee has been trying to assuage fears within his own party that he is alienating potential voters with offensive statements about Muslims, Latinos and women. Last month, Trump fired his campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and began delivering speeches using a teleprompter, an abrupt change in style that was seen as an attempt to appear more presidential ahead of the Nov. 8 election.
Saturday’s tweet was a reminder of the unrestrained side of Trump. The candidate has mocked a disabled newspaper reporter, referred to undocumented immigrants from Mexico as “rapists” and recently pointed to a black man in the crowd at one of his rallies and called him “my African-American.”
And the multitude of the proverbial lemmings that exist within the Jewish community will nonetheless continue to support Trump.
The campaign said it was supposed to be a policeman’s six-pointed badge. OK, they made a mistake. But my goodness what a screw-up!

However to think that it was a wink wink nod to right wing supporters is either paranoid or being politically exploitative.
It was a mistake it must be, even if he would be the biggest secret anti semit, he wouldn’t do it, because it will cost him a lot, he might be crazy, but not stupid.

There is no doubt that one of Trump’s goyish staffers screwed up big time, and should be fired. However, Donald Trump is no anti-semite. He’s employed many Jews in his organization, for many years. He’s had contact with many Jewish movers and shakers in the real estate industry in NYC, for decades. His Father, Fred Trump, rented to a majority of Jews in his apartments, especially in Trump Village in Coney Island. Trump doesn’t need this tsouris, two weeks prior to the convention. However, as a proud Jew, I’m still going to vote for him. We can’t afford Hillary. I just finished reading the book “Crisis of Character”, which was written by a former Secret Service uniformed officer, Gary Byrne, who used to personally guard both Clintons. The conduct which Hilary engaged in, during her White House tenure, was far worse than I thought. For example, Officer Byrne wrote that he was present, when Hilary threw a vase at Bill Clinton, causing him a black eye. It became so bad, that Bill Clinton asked the Secret Service to keep “that bi— away from him”. Also, she used the most foul language to the Secret Service and staff, on a daily basis.

Hilary’s prior conduct has been substantiated by numerous staff, including other Secret Service Agents. Nearly every day, she would be cussing staff out, using the most vile language, to uniformed guards, and Secret Service Agents in suits. If a guard stated “Good morning”, her reply would be “go f— yourself”. Everyone feared her, including her husband, and they stayed out of her way. Her temperament is far worse than Trump’s. In addition, when she was 1st lady of Arkansas, she and Bill would also engage in anti-semitic language, against those whom they didn’t like. It has been substantiated that she called a non-Jew, Paul.Fray, a Clinton advisor, a f——- Jew Ba—–d, when he lost elected office.
