    Invoices released by the attorney general show Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher billed the state $202,000 from September to March. The firm previously billed $8 million since being hired in January 2014.

    That comes on top of $2.3 million the Christie administration has paid a risk management firm. That brings billings from the legal team to $10.5 million.

    Separately, the legislature has paid $1.2 million to a law firm for an investigation of the bridge case and another $1.2 million has been spent for legal expenses for state employees who were questioned or received subpoenas.

    Former Christie allies are charged in the case; he is not.

    Non-union employees have not seen a raise since Christie became governor;

    At the same time, all State employees have seen their paychecks reduced every six months since 2010, due to increased deductions;

    Cost of living adjustments have been eliminated from all pensions;

    Christie paints NJ pensions as exorbitant, even though the NJ State pension system rated 48th out of 50 in benefits to retirees in a widely published 2014 study;

    He reneges on his much touted 2009 Pension Legislation pledge to fund the pension system, a move described as “immoral” in the NJ Supreme Court decision reluctantly upholding the technical legality of the renege;

    Meanwhile:

    Christie brags about his joint checking account with his 1% spouse;

    Governor’s Office staff get regular raises;

    Eight senior Christie appointees have either pleaded guilty to felonies or are under investigation;

    Christie travels to Dallas Football games at the Taxpayer expense; and

    Taxpayers are paying between $8 and $10 for Christie’s attorneys in “Bridgegate.”

    What a guy that Christie
