Queens, NY – Authorities say two people have been taken to a hospital in serious condition after a police-involved shooting in Queens.

New York Police Department spokesman J. Peter Donald said Monday afternoon on Twitter that “there has been an officer-involved shooting.” He said further details were not immediately available.
The Fire Department said two people were taken to Elmhurst Hospital in serious condition.
WABC said a woman had a head wound but it was unclear who shot her.
