Teneo Holdings CEO Declan Kelly says in a statement posted on the company’s website Tuesday that William Bratton brings unique expertise to the job. The company says the new division will advise companies and CEOs on a range of issues from cyber security to city planning to crisis response and anti-terrorism.

Bratton announced Tuesday that he’s leaving the NYPD “with great reluctance” in September.

The New York-based firm he’s going to was founded by Douglas Band, a former aide to President Bill Clinton. A longtime aide to current Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin, worked for the company in 2012 while also advising Clinton at the State Department.
