London – British police have charged a 19-year-old Somali-Norwegian man with carrying out a stabbing rampage in London’s Russell Square that killed an American woman.

London’s Metropolitan Police says Zakaria Bulhan, of London, was charged Friday with the murder of 64-year-old Darlene Horton and the attempted murder of five people who were injured in the attack.
Horton, who was visiting London with her husband, a Florida State University professor, was stabbed to death by a knifeman in a busy tourist area of the city on Wednesday evening.
Bulhan, who moved from Norway to Britain as a child, is due in court Saturday.
Police say they have found no link to terrorism for the incident, which came after police warned Londoners to be vigilant after a summer of attacks elsewhere in Europe.
