Among those injured was one officer, one non-commissioned officer and five conscripts, the IDF noted.
It appears that the incident was caused by a bulldozer which ran over a jeep containing the soldiers inside.
The families of those hurt in the incident have been notified and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the collision.
At least two soldiers sustained light wounds in the accident, four were in moderate condition while one was in critical condition, the military statement said.
Each soldier was air-lifted by Army helicopter to nearby Rambam Medical Center in Haifa for further treatment.
Why do parents allow their precious children into such an army, an army where “accidents” happen weekly due to negligence and the expandable mentality of the atheists in charge instead of viewing each Jewish soul as special.
