“The US doesn’t enjoy the power to confront Iran militarily,” Iranian media quoted Revolutionary Guards Navy Admiral Ali Fadavi as stating.

The remarks downplaying US power came days after an uptick in tensions between Washington and Tehran due to multiple instances of Iranian vessels encountering US warships in the Persian Gulf’s Strait of Hormuz.

Actions by Iranian vessels in several encounters with US warships in the Gulf this week are cause for concern and increase risks of miscalculation, the White House said on Friday.

However, in a speech to volunteer forces Saturday night, Fadavi claimed that Iran has confined the United States’s maritime military abilities in the region, according to Iran’s Fars news agency.

In his boastful rhetoric, the Revolutionary Guards admiral also asserted that Iranian patrols have deterred US warships from approaching the Islamic Republic’s territorial waters for years.

The comments came despite the easing of years of mutual animosity when Washington lifted sanctions on Tehran in January after a deal to curb Iran’s nuclear ambitions but serious differences still remain over Iran’s ballistic missile program, Syria and Iraq.

Nonetheless, in May Fadavi also spoke of the US presence in the region as driving insecurity. According to Fars, he called on Washington to withdraw all its troops from the area, adding that the Americans “do not dare” attack Iran out of fear that backlash could hinder its interests in the Middle East.

“No one dares to give a dirty look at Iran let alone launching a war,” he was quoted as saying.

Pretty funny. US Navy fired three warning shots across the bow of one of the Iranian craft which passes for a “patrol boat”.

The US Navy could blow the entire Iranian Navy out of the water in a heartbeat.

Iran, like North Korea, is lots of talk. Mostly because they’re scared of the US forces.

That’s because the liberal activist in the oval office is a dirty muslim lover with zero moral compass who prefers to spend taxpayer money on golf tours, to instigate domestic racial tensions, and to figure out how to further corrupt the justice department so he can get his henchwoman into office.

To say that the US does not have the power to confront Iran is obviously inadequate – the US could blast Iran out of water and out of the sky too. But between dingle bat Obama who is out to please the Muslims and those in the Navy who do not want to begin a fight that could lead to something greater, Iran has on what to rant.

Remember, in dealing with Arabs (yes I know that Iranians are not Arabs, but they have the same mind set) that
“if they could, they would, but since they cant, they rant”.

Thanks to BHO for intentionally destroying our military–just imagine what all of our long history of fighting naval admirals, from John Paul Jones; Ducateur; Dewey; Farragut; Spruance; Nimitz; thru Halsey; etc, would say about this!!! DMD

I wonder if any of you armchair admirals have served on the military or would ever allow your children to serve. If not, what business do ANY of you have to be screaming for others to be put in harms way?

He is right, Obama is chicken and doesn’t have the backbone to stand up to the Iranians.
