Brooklyn, NY – A Hispanic man is dead after a shooting that took place in broad daylight in the heart of Borough Park.

Police said that the shooting took place at 12:20 PM at 46th Street and New Utrecht Avenue. The 36 year old victim, who has yet to be identified, was driving a white van on New Utrecht Avenue when the unknown perpetrators pulled up alongside him and began shooting.
The victim was struck in the chest and lost control of his car which hit a lamppost. He was transported to Maimonides Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Assemblyman Dov Hikind who rushed to the scene said that the victim was headed south towards 47th Street when the shooting occurred. He noted that it is a miracle that no one else was injured.
“Thank G-d there were no stray bullets,” Hikind told VIN News. “To hear of a shooting here is almost unheard of and at this time of day with kids home from camp and people shopping, this is very scary.”
The victim appears to have been targeted by the shooters, according to Hikind who said it was obvious that the shooting was not random. Police have swarmed the area looking for the perpetrators who are described only as two male blacks.
They were last seen heading towards 8th Avenue according to Yanky Daskal of Shomrim, and are said to have fled the scene in a red vehicle with New York license plate GYU-9536.

Those who commit such heinous acts, whether in Borough Park, in Chicago, or against our own people in Miami Beach, are nothing, but savages from the jungle. In Saudi Arabia (ask our “friend” PaulinSaudi), they would be beheaded in public within a short time). In New York State, there is no death penalty. In the few states which enforce the death penalty, the appeals drag on for decades.
Maybe it was road rage?
