Albany – Lieutenant Governor Has Been Submitted For Federal Judge

    Albany, NY – Lt. Gov. Mary Donohue is up for an appointment to a federal judgeship after Gov. George Pataki submitted her name to the Bush administration.
    The Troy native confirmed that the White House is considering her for a lifetime seat on the U.S. District Court bench in the Northern District. A vacancy is being created by Chief Judge Frederick J. Scullin Jr. who attains senior status on March 13. Donohue is not up for the chief judge’s job, only the vacant judgeship.
