The former Republican California governor, movie star and bodybuilder told the Los Angeles Times (http://lat.ms/2oEJwSP ) in an interview published Wednesday that Kasich is “a man of substance” who has state and federal government experience, is a moderate and “has vision.”

Schwarzenegger also backed Kasich for president in 2016. The two men are friends and work together annually on the Arnold Classic bodybuilding competition in Ohio.

There is no love lost between Trump and Schwarzenegger. Schwarzenegger replaced him as the host of “Celebrity Apprentice,” and Trump repeatedly mocked him for poor television ratings.

For his part, Kasich says he’s not running for anything.

My grandfather was mailman, my grandfather was a mailman kasich

To #1 - Actually, he keeps saying that “my Father was a mailman, and my Grandfather was a coal miner”. He keeps repeating that like a broken record; he thinks that by mentioning his blue collar roots, he can imply that “I’m not one of the rich guys. The fact of the matter is that Kasich is not a poor person, as his net worth is about $10,000,000. In addition, he was not a mentch, as he intentionally boycotted the Republican National Convention which was held in his home state of Ohio. He could have at least made an appearance and and greeted the delegates on the first day. Trump did not go to the convention until the third or fourth day, and Kasich would not have run into him. Yet, after badmouthing Trump, he had the chutzpah to go to the White House, with his hat in his hand. He was offered the VP slot, but he turned it down!
