Washington – The U.S. Justice Department charged the Israeli-American teen arrested in Israel with making threats against Jewish community centers.

The Justice Department said on Friday that it was charging Michael Ron David Kadar, 18, with making threatening calls to JCCs in Florida, conveying false information to the police and cyberstalking.
Kadar was arrested in Israel last month for making over 100 threats against Jewish sites in the U.S. He allegedly made threatening calls to JCCs in Florida between Jan-March 2017, according to a statement posted by a Buzzfeed journalist on Twitter. Kadar also allegedly made a call regarding a false emergency at a private home in Georgia.
“Today’s charges into these violent threats to Jewish community centers and others represent this department’s commitment to fighting all forms of violent crime,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a statement.
“These threats of violence instilled terror in Jewish and other communities across this country and our investigation into these acts as possible hate crimes continues,” Sessions continued.
Kadar’s parents and attorney have said he has a benign brain tumor that affects his behavior.
The Jewish state has complied with requests to extradite Israelis since the 1990s, given that those sentenced to serve in prison can do so in Israel, according to Haaretz.
I hope that he extradited to the USA, and receives the maximum sentence in federal prison. I don’t buy that bubba meises that he is mentally challenged. If the latter was the case, he would never have been able to hook up such a sophisticated electronic device, and engage in an electronic reign of terror. Whereas he may have been an oddball, he was not insane, as he knew exactly what he was doing.
