New York – The New York City police department has concluded its investigation into the death of a pioneering judge who was found dead in the Hudson River.

Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said Wednesday investigators had tracked down all leads and found no criminality.
Boyce said all of the evidence had been handed over to the city’s medical examiner, who will make a final determination. A previous autopsy was inconclusive.
Sheila Abdus-Salaam’s body was found along the riverbank near her Manhattan home on April 12. She had been reported missing a day earlier.
Abdus-Salaam was the first black woman on New York state’s highest court.
