Brooklyn, NY – Less than a week after two young girls were groped by an unknown man on the outskirts of Borough Park, the NYPD is releasing surveillance photos of the suspect and turning to the public for assistance.

The incident took place on Friday, May 12th at 6:45 PM near 8th Avenue and 50th Street, a short distance from Maimonides Medical Center. The two sisters, one six years old and the other eight, were playing in front of their house when the man approached them, touching one girl in the groin area and the other on her buttocks, before fleeing in an unknown direction.
Police described the suspect as a black haired Hispanic man, approximately 5 feet tall, between 30 and 40 years old with a medium build. He was wearing a red jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers at the time of the incident.
