“Williamsburgh Square,” which would span an entire city block along Bedford Avenue between North Third and North Fourth streets, would forever change the character of a neighborhood zoned for five-and six-story buildings.
One of the partners of the developers, said that the project is in “the very early stages” and could change. He has shown three proposals to the local community board – one a six-story structure, and the other options calling for a 20-story building and a 40-story building.
