“We deeply regret and apologize for the serious error we made yesterday … As a result of our continued reporting over the next several hours ultimately we determined the information was wrong and we corrected the mistake on air and online,” ABC News said in a statement.

“Effective immediately, Brian Ross will be suspended for four weeks without pay,” added ABC News, owned by the Walt Disney Co.

Flynn pleaded guilty on Friday to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russia, and he agreed to cooperate with prosecutors delving into the actions of President Donald Trump’s inner circle before he took office.

Soon after, ABC News reported that Flynn, citing a confidant, was prepared to testify that Trump directed him to make contact with Russians when he was a presidential candidate.

Wall Street’s main indexes all fell by more than 1 percent after the report.

ABC News later issued a correction that the source clarified that Trump had assigned Flynn and a “small circle of senior advisers” to find ways to improve relations with Russia and other hotspots during the presidential campaign.

“It was shortly after the election, that President-elect Trump directed Flynn to contact Russian officials on topics that included working jointly against ISIS,” ABC News said.

Inaccurate or fake news? There is a difference, this was the latter.

What took VIN 6 hours after shabbos to post this story? This and Trump’s victorious tax cut vote were the 2 biggest stories over shabbos.

It is astonishing what our president puts up with and still continues on. You’d have to assume 99.9% of people in his position would go nuts by this time. A full year of fake news against him. Insane.

I honesty wonder if all of his haters know why they hate him, or perhaps it is just the thing to do and is ingrained in their hollow heads.

There are many many interviews of Mr Trump, from approx 1980 all the way 2014-2015… on talk shows and late night, always loved by all the interviewers and Late night audiences. His policies haven’t changed much, has been saying the same things forever, yet they paint him as an evil monster.

It only proves that the media is not fake. He is suspended . If Trump and Congress would be suspended every time they lie there would be no Goverment.

Time to treat fake news (and hashomer. and yonasonw) for what they are: background noise in the face of one of the greatest Presidents of all time.

The signal to noise is getting bigger as the President continues to MAGA, and as the retarded left desperately looks for nits to pick while continuously embarrassing itself.

The country is moving forward, and leaving you nuts in the dust. Have a nice life.

So ABC suspended a reported for a misstatement. Big gadila. It won’t cover the avalanche of news about Flynn and Trumpf’s crazy statements and malfeasance in office. His lemmings drink the Orange kool aid will soon be over the cliff.

Dude this was obviously fake news. If it was a simple misstatement it would have been corrected in what 15 – 20 minutes? Tops 30 minutes? The fact that the fake news lingered for a whole day followed by a month long suspension proves it was more than a simple error.
