Nikki Haley told an emergency meeting of the U.N. Security Council on Friday that the U.S. is more committed to peace “than we’ve ever been before — and we believe we might be closer to that goal than ever before.”

The Trump administration has been working on a new peace plan, but Haley gave no details.

She noted that past Israeli-Palestinian agreements have been signed on the White House lawn, and if there is a new agreement there is “a good likelihood” it will be signed there as well “because the United States has credibility of both sides.”

Haley urged all countries “to temper statements and actions in the days ahead,” saying anyone who used Trump’s announcement as a pretext for violence would show that they were “unfit partners for peace.”

They make it sound like its childplay. Wishful thinking. The opposite unfortunately sounds true but H shld guard His children. Was a wreckless inciteful decision to put it mildly.

Whether it will bring to peace or not is debatable. At the end of the day there is no other side. This may force thier hand or may not. But one thing is for sure its a huge practical gain or as yonasonw puts it there is a reapolltik gain.Till now Abbas has been dancing around the issue via not recognizing Israel or its rights to Jerusalem. At best it was like OK if you agree to give us tons of land maybe we will give you a little peace too. Now Abbas knows the deal goes the other way Jerusalem is Israel’s if you Abbas puts down your guns we will give you a peace of the action.

A prime example of the practicality is what transpired a few years ago in the old city’s churva shul. That shul destroyed by arabs between 48-67 lays well within the jewish quarter. Israel rebuilt it but the Palestinians protested even though its in the jewish quarter and completely Israel’s.. This declaration debunks any of their silly arguments.

May the Palestinians be smitten with Cancer &ALS; and all yidden speared
