Speaking Monday after a hectic day that took him from a Russian base in Syria to Cairo and Ankara, Putin said the U.S. move “doesn’t help the Mideast settlement and, just the other way round, destabilizes the already difficult situation in the region.”

The Russian leader added that it may “finish prospects for the Palestinian-Israeli peace process.”

He added that Moscow believes that the status of Jerusalem should be settled through talks between the Palestinians and Israel in line with United Nations resolutions.

The Palestinians claim east Jerusalem as the capital of their future state.

This is a bit confusing, as there are articles on the Internet that say that Russia recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital in early April 2017.

Why should he be any different than our old presidend O’Bahamah or Clinton Der Menivel. They all promised to move the embassy to Jerusalem. They are now all claiming it was the worst thing President Trump has done, just because he is the only honest president to keep his promise. So let us not look down on Putin, he should be considered the same hero as Clinton, Bush, O’Behamah and the rest.

Saying Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and moving the embassy is another thing, for you can say anything you want but demonstration of moving the embassy in reality terms is another thing. Until the actual US embassy is moved or demonstrated they are moving to Jerusalem that is reality. Unfortunately they don’t have to build a giant million dollar building their are facilities that can be used in Jerusalem this moment, would be nice for Chanukah.

    Let me get this straight:
    Syria’s got a civil war.
    Iraq’s got a civil war.
    Lebanon is being slowly digested
    by Hezbollah.
    Yemen’s got a civil war.
    ISIS is operating in Egypt.
Hamas is doing what Hamas does.
    The Palestinians are paying people
    to stab Jews.
    Libya is butchering Nigerian slaves
    (Re-read that one.)
Iran is building nukes to go on their
missiles and is trying to subvert Bahrain
    BUT
    [by recognizing a 3,000-year-o!d truth,]
Trump is going to set the region aflame.
    Right?
