REUTERS/Francois LenoirBrussels – A European Union leader says leaders of the 28-nation bloc have reiterated their “firm commitment” to a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians, in what amounts to a rebuke of President Donald Trump’s recent decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Donald Tusk, president of the European Council, also tweeted at an EU summit on Thursday that the EU’s position on Jerusalem — which is that the city should be the capital of both Israelis and Palestinians — remains unchanged.

Last week Trump announced that the United States was recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and moving its embassy there from Tel Aviv. The declaration departed from decades of U.S. policy that the fate of Jerusalem should be decided through negotiations and caused international uproar.

The EU, are the children whose parents lived thru the WW2 war . They have no sympathy for a jew , as they see how their countries treated jews who lived there.See how europe has taken in millions of refugees from syria and surrounding lands.compare this to how they gave over to slaughter, their jews.

EU will give lip service to fighting anti-Semitism while it supports and encourages the Palestinians to refuse to recognize Israel or any Jewish sites in the old city or East Jerusalem. The Palestinians desecrated Har Hazaisim kevorim and would dump more garbage on the Kossel if they could, just like they did from 1948-1967.
The EU does not really support Israel having Jerusalem as a capitol along with the Palestinians, just that Palestinians should have Jerusalem, with all the Old City holy sited, as thei capitol and then be allowed to push the Jews out afterwards.

Why do they have to complain to Trump about it? Why can’t they accept another opinion, which by the way, is the most sensible one? It is because they hate Jewish. Are afraid when we are set free, we will conquer the world. I understand the fear…but by embracing the muslims, they are setting their own demise, their own grave. For that which they set against us, will be set against them and destroy them.

The US should in turn, not recognize any EU capitals. Let’s move our German embassy to Bonn, our French embassy to Vichy, our Spanish embassy to Catalonia, our Turkish embassy to Armenia, etc. Let’s see how they like it.
