Michael Wolff told BBC radio that his conclusion in “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House”– that Trump is not fit to do the job — was becoming a widespread view.

“I think one of the interesting effects of the book so far is a very clear emperor-has-no-clothes effect,” Wolff said in an interview broadcast on Saturday.

“The story that I have told seems to present this presidency in such a way that it says he can’t do his job,” Wolff said.

“Suddenly everywhere people are going ‘oh my God, it’s true, he has no clothes’. That’s the background to the perception and the understanding that will finally end … this presidency.”

Trump has dismissed the book as full of lies. It depicts a chaotic White House, a president who was ill-prepared to win the office in 2016, and Trump aides who scorned his abilities.

Trump took to Twitter late on Friday to renew his attacks on Wolff, and on his former top aide Steve Bannon who was quoted in the book.

“Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book,” Trump said. “He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried when he got fired and begged for his job. Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog by almost everyone. Too bad!”

Bannon, formerly Trump’s chief strategist, is chairman of the so-called alt-right Breitbart News website

In his interview with the BBC, Wolff was asked if he believed that Bannon felt Trump was unfit to serve as president and would try to bring him down. “Yes,” Wolff replied.

He also hit back at claims that the book was untruthful.

“This is what’s called reporting. This is how you do it.” he said. “You ask people, you get as close as you can to the event, you interview the people who were privy to the event, you interview other people who were privy to the event, you come to know the circumstance as well as anybody and then you report it.”

The desperation of the losing libtards has sunk to the next level. They will fail in this attempt as they have in the previous attempt.

While the libtards are pulling out their hair and screaming at the sky, President Trump has moved the USA forward in ways it hasn’t seen in a very long time.

If anyone has no clothes, it’s this dunce head Michael Wolff, and in fact, no too many brains either.

The POTUS was elected by the People and will be re-elected, or not, once again, by the People and certainly not by this fool, Wolff !!!

The President is correct in saying Wolff “is a total loser”.

Its what we call biased reporting. Its what happens when you are agenda driven. You report half truths and only interview who you expect. Did you interview Jared? Of course not. This is what fake news is.

And it will cause some headaches but life will go on. Trump is here to stay buddy. Keep on dreaming Mr. Wolff loser.

Whereas some of the details in that book may be inaccurate, one cannot refute the vast majority of the allegations, in the book. The books are being blown off the shelves. Even Amazon is sold out, and there is a waiting list of weeks, to have that book delivered. Trump is not helping himself by attacking the author and threatening legal action. In act, his ridiculous efforts and remarks, are only increasing demand and sales for that book. I don’t think that Trump should run for a second term; he can’t take any criticism, is ill tempered, and things are only going to get worse. As Harry Truman once stated “If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen”.

In this case the devil would be to put too much emphasis on the details…with respect to Michael Wolff’s journalistic history, which is checkered for sure.

The big picture is the book’s confirmation of what has been reported here and there for a year. To quote an article in today’s succeeding NYT:

“In a way, what is shocking about the book is that its depiction of a capricious, uninformed and erratic president is not really all that shocking. Indeed, while the White House and various others challenge the accuracy of specific episodes in the book, its broader portrayal largely squares with the journalistic coverage of the past year based on the president’s own staff.”

And “libtard” name calling is immature, ad hominem and irrelevant.
