Christie is the first elected New Jersey governor in nearly 25 years to serve without suffering a broken leg.

Christie’s predecessor, Democrat Jon Corzine, broke his leg during a serious vehicle accident on the Garden State Parkway in 2007

Democrat Jim McGreevey broke his leg during a walk on the beach in Cape May in 2002.

Republican Christine Todd Whitman fractured her leg while skiing in Switzerland in 1999.

Former Obama administration Justice Department official Eric Columbus dug up the nugget on Twitter Tuesday after Christie was replaced by Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy.

The last governor to leave office without breaking a leg was Jim Florio, who left in 1994.

Phil Murphy will be a disastor for NJ.

Raise the min wage to $15 an hour. Why? People who earn the min wage already earn more than I do . They get 60k in govt programs. They really need more money? And who do you think has to pay for their increase? Us hard working poor middle income workers will pay more for pizza, groceries, cloths etc..

Next idea, mandatory family leave. Who pays for that? It comes out of my weekly pay check. Who cashes in on the paid leave? Not me because you only get at most 400-$600 a week. That doesn’t cover me. So middle income once again pays for the poor.

Glad that at least tax the rich is minimized thanks to the new SALT limit. Lets hope Murphy makes some trafifc trouble and becomes irrelevant like his predecessor. Or maybe he can go play with Mcgrevy.

We can still hope he makes up for it by breaking his limbs out of office.
