Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona said Trump’s attacks were reminiscent of words infamously used by Russian dictator Josef Stalin to describe his enemies.

In a speech Wednesday on the Senate floor, Flake called Trump’s repeated attacks on the media “shameful” and “repulsive” and said Trump “has it precisely backward.” Flake said despotism is the enemy of the people, while a free press is the despot’s enemy and a guardian of democracy.

Flake, a frequent Trump critic who is retiring this year, said when Trump calls stories he doesn’t like “fake news,” he “should be the figure of suspicion, not the press.”

Except that By Stalin it was a lie and here Trump is correct. Furthermore the media today is far more savy and they have the means to twist facts and say half truths.

    Simple headlines are so misleading

Like Charlotsvile saying there is god and evil on both sides means he supports nazis? Good means the innocent people protesting the statue removal who never noticed nazis signs. But no they want you to believe that good means the nazis are good.

How about the Trump sh* hole comment. All he meant was that 3rd word countries are backwards and we can’t accept people from those countries. But according to the media no he meant to discriminant against blacks. You may disagree with the notion of denying poor immigrants entry but to argue that trump meant to be a raicst against blacks? That’s fake news.

Do I need to get into how the failing NYT reports news on Israel? I think we all see the facts twisting there?

The media is more savy and sneaky. They are our enemy.

The New Fuhrer models his public comments on the old Fuhrer, his German mentor. Shtalin almost never gave public speeches. He addressed the Politburo but not the public. Politician adolf gave speeches denouncing minorities, newspapers, world leaders, liberals and institutions of democracies. Sound familiar? His end may be the same…
